Ordering Process

First and foremost, this website isn’t an online store, and you are unable to purchase anything directly online. It is instead an online gallery with the products that we have to offer, where you can browse and then get in touch to make an order.
Items on display on this page are not necessarily the item you will be buying – due to the “handmade” nature of our business, our garden sculptures are quiet individual. However, the item shown is a fare indication of the final result.
Painted inserts come either Black or White, with or without indentions. We can paint inserts a specific color on request.
Pick ups must be made by appointment, we are located in Peria Road, Matamata.

How We Came To Be

It all starts with a great idea doesn’t it? I have always liked concrete and felt it had a lot of untapped potential. After years of working with latex molds, I always wanted to go bigger, but the weight factor with standard concrete meant limitations for me and the potential buyer. In 2018, I was given the chance to sell Lightweight concrete sculptures, these were much larger pieces, and more impressively not super heavy in weight. These outsold all other garden ornaments I was making at the time. When the original owner retired, I bought the business from him. Little did i know that these sculptures are the true definition of “handmade”.

Each piece starts as 3D shape crafted from recycled materials, from there it is hand plastered 2 times, the finished look is a smart, yet rustic, somewhat resembling pumice, with natural weathering holes in the final look.

The process from start to finish is not quick, materials for the finished result first have to be sourced, then shredded, cut, shaped, covered, stuffed, sanded, washed, painted, but, well worth it.
